The Mystery Of TideSmart Global Stimulus Funding and the Vanishing Media Coverage

I was informed that Mr Woods (TideSmart Global CEO) dropped out of the race and gave support to Michaud. Still the story needs attention and says something about a Michaud supporter. Something very fishy is going on- BIG Time because Tide Smart Global was a very expensive business campus to build. Was Governor Baldacci really there at the opening ceremony thanking Obama and the state for stimulus funding tor which there is no record? If this hugely expensive campus was not financed by federal and state stimulus funds- then how was it financed and why the phoney story?

If Baldacci was really there. is he implicated in what ever lies behind this false media reporting? Is there really ( or was there ever? )an engraved stone at Tide Smart Global thanking Obama for stimulus funds that never existed ?. If a high up in the Democratic party ( Baldacci ) is implicated- then who else? Is this the tip of an iceberg ?

I have removed the code so that the links are functional again. As far as I know no other blog posts were affected but I would appreciate a heads up if other dysfunctional links are found.  Also- and possibly related I also found that the image directories on Andersen Studio's Ceramic Birds Page had all been deleted causing the images not to display. Also corrected now.
- Or it was yesterday. I just checked and the directories are missing again- not just online but on my hard drive as well. Any advice on what to do about this is welcome. I have an internet security program and Windows Firewall.

How The MPERS Contract Came To Be Embedded in the Maine Constitution

Is The Maine Public Retirement System Unconstitutional? According to the Maine Public Employees ComprehensiveFinancial Report of 2010 , the Maine Public Employees Retirement System was established in 1942 to provide services for retiring public employees. No information is given about how the Public Employees Retirement System was legally structured in 1942. In the report MPERS is described as “an independent public agency of the State of Maine that traces its history to 1942”. Wikipedia  uses the same term but when the link is clicked it reveals that Wikipedia has no idea what " independent public agency " means.  An online search for history of MPERS between 1942 and 1985 comes up empty.  In 1985 during the administration of Governor Joseph E Brennan, the Maine Legislature passed a statute announcing its intentions of using general taxpayer monies to provide for retirement funds and death benefits for public employees, a faction which, incidentally, includes th...

Whispering Stalin

TWEET THIS  WpjYDqLKFs#(8!jdk5 A reminder of Stalin: After defeating Trotsky and ridding the party of all his rivals, Stalin began to build up Russia. As he said, "Other countries are 50 years ahead of Russia. We must make this up in 10 years." As such, he had two main aims: (i)a centrally-planned economy called a command economy; (ii)a totalitarian system of government  ....... During this period, Russia's economy was completely transformed. The state planned the entire economy through the State Planning Commission, or Gosplan. They issued instructions and orders, commands that were then passed down to factories, businesses or farms. .........The government controlled the resources it needed to achieve the economic targets . Factories, mines, transport and farms were owned by the state. .......... Many workers had to slog for 11 hours! However, none of them revolted, as they knew their wages were paid in food rations, which meant they would DEFINITELY ...

On Being An Anomaly In The Age of The Creative Economy

www.andersendesign.biz Introduction: The Cultural Context Every organization and every business is its own culture. Andersen Stoneware is a cultural environment that places a distinct and unique value on the process of making things. The Creative Economy is a culture that places value on designing (innovating) things. Andersen Stoneware designs what it makes and so Andersen Stoneware also values innovation. Arguably, the Creative Economy is  a response to the loss of manufacturing (making things) in the United States and the rise of manufacturing in what was once called third world nations. As such the ideology of the Creative Economy movement glorifies designers over makers as it separates the act of designing from the act of making (also  repairing and maintaining which are qualified as "lesser skilled work " according to the "creative economy" system of measurement) ( example) In the marketing of the Creative Economy, those that design, do no...
